万里长城（慕田峪）80分新票三枚

1999年影写版邮票，慕田峪长城图景，三枚同版同面值，齿孔完整，原胶保存，仅单枚轻微自然旧斑，无薄裂修补。新中国经典长城邮票，邮政流通史料与风光邮品兼备，适合专题集藏。

主体地貌

画面取景北京怀柔慕田峪长城中段山脊，主山峰巍峨高耸，长城顺着山脊由左下向山顶蜿蜒爬升，完整还原慕田峪 “依山叠岭、巨龙盘峰” 的山势特征。

建筑元素（雕刻版核心）

左下角：两座双层空心敌楼，是慕田峪标志性的多窗瞭望敌楼，墙体箭窗、台阶、垛口用精细雕刻线条刻画；

山脊主线：城墙随山势起伏延伸至主峰顶端，远处淡化的山峦烘托纵深感；

植被：山坡以细密网点雕刻表现林木，贴合慕田峪 90% 高植被覆盖率的实景特点。

邮票里两座并排敌楼，对应慕田峪 14、15 号敌楼片区，此段长城两侧均设垛口（区别于八达岭单面垛口），是慕田峪独有的建筑特色；

山体走势、城墙爬升角度完全复刻实景航拍视角，景区官方称这里为 “牛角边” 观景段，是慕田峪拍照经典机位。

景观特色 全长 5400 米，敌楼密集（共 22 座），山林覆盖率极高，四季层次分明，素有 “万里长城，慕田峪独秀” 之称。

设计初衷：以 21 处明长城代表段落，完整展现明代长城全线风貌，慕田峪作为京畿代表性长城入选。发行量比较少，值得收藏。

Uneven dimensions

80 Fen Mint Stamps of the Great Wall (Mutianyu) – Set of Three

Issued in 1999 using photogravure printing, these three identical stamps feature the Mutianyu Great Wall motif with the same face value. All boast intact perforations and original gum. Only one stamp bears faint natural age spots; no thinning, cracks or repairs are present. As a classic Chinese stamp depicting the Great Wall, this set carries both postal circulation historical value and scenic philatelic appeal, ideal for thematic collection.

Landscape Subject

The frame captures the mid-section ridge of Mutianyu Great Wall in Huairou, Beijing. Towering main peaks stand prominent, with the Great Wall snaking uphill from the lower left to the summit, faithfully reproducing Mutianyu’s iconic terrain feature: a giant dragon winding atop layered mountain ridges.

Architectural Motifs (Core Engraving Details)

Lower left: Two two-storey hollow watchtowers, the signature multi-window observation towers of Mutianyu. Exquisitely engraved lines delineate the wall’s arrow slits, stone steps and crenellations.

Main ridge line: The rampart undulates along mountain slopes all the way to the main peak, with softly faded distant mountains creating distinct depth of field.

Vegetation: Fine dot engraving renders mountain forests, mirroring Mutianyu’s real-world 90% vegetation coverage rate.

The twin side-by-side watchtowers on the stamp correspond to Towers No.14 and No.15 of Mutianyu Great Wall. Unlike Badaling Great Wall which only has crenellations on one side, this section features battlements on both sides – a unique architectural hallmark of Mutianyu.

Mountain contours and the ascending gradient of the wall precisely replicate an aerial perspective of the scenic spot’s famous viewing stretch known locally as "Ox Horn Edge", a prime photography spot at Mutianyu.

Scenic Highlights

Stretching 5,400 metres in total, Mutianyu Great Wall boasts dense watchtowers (22 in total) and thick forest coverage with striking seasonal scenery. It is reputed as "The Unrivaled Mutianyu Section of the Ten-Thousand-Li Great Wall".

Design Background

The stamp series showcases 21 representative segments of the Ming Great Wall to fully illustrate the full landscape of the Ming dynasty’s Great Wall defense line. Mutianyu was selected as the landmark Great Wall section near the imperial capital. With a relatively limited print run, this set holds great collecting value.
