In the currency collection system of the New China, the third series of Renminbi will always be a unique era totem. Officially issued in 1962 and circulating until 2000, its thirty-eight years of circulation fully witnessed our country's period of self-reliance and hard work in construction. Unlike the heavy Soviet-style design of the first and second series of banknotes, the third series of Renminbi was entirely designed, engraved, and printed independently by domestic designers and engravers, making it a truly domestically developed and produced currency. The paper's texture and the scenes depicted on the notes comprehensively portray workers and farmers in production, the construction of mountains and rivers, and the lives of ordinary people, carrying the fervent patriotic sentiment unique to the 1950s and 1960s.

Today, this set of third series Renminbi, professionally graded and encapsulated by SCGS, includes all nine denominations. The last three digits of the serial numbers of the entire set are identical, making it a rare complete set with matching last three digits in the collection circle. This complete set of banknotes has been fully authenticated and encapsulated by SCGS, the professional coin and currency grading institution, mitigating the risks of oxidation, creasing, and counterfeiting that are common with unprotected banknotes, thus providing comprehensive protection for the collectibles:

Professional appraisers carefully inspect each banknote for paper quality, ink, engraving patterns, hidden marks, and serial number formats, strictly distinguishing genuine originals from replicas. The top of the encapsulation box is marked with the authentication conclusion "Genuine," accompanied by a unique traceability QR code. Scanning the code allows viewing of the authentication record for each banknote, ensuring verifiable authenticity and alleviating concerns for novice collectors.

All nine banknotes in the set are uniformly housed in a high-transparency hard protective grading case, isolating them from air, moisture, dust, and light, preventing yellowing, brittleness, mold spots, and creases, thereby permanently preserving the original condition of the notes.
