清风格青花香草龙纹碗（一对）

外壁：夔龙（象鼻螭龙 / 香草龙）穿缠枝莲，这种龙没有传统真龙的五爪，长鼻卷草，是明代中期开始流行的夔龙纹饰，寓意吉祥、守护。

碗内心：十字金刚杵（十字宝杵），藏传佛教纹饰，代表破除烦恼、驱邪纳福，多见于清代康熙朝的青花碗，是礼佛题材。

近圈足位置：一圈仰莲瓣纹，莲瓣内部点缀圆点，是经典的辅助边饰。

内壁：同样绘夔龙穿花，内外纹饰呼应。这种外夔龙缠枝莲 + 内底十字金刚杵的组合，胎釉温润，

青花有自然晕散，笔触古拙，底足修胎利落，火石红自然。外壁通体绘青花螭龙（草龙）缠枝莲纹，螭龙身姿矫健婉转，穿梭于缠枝莲花之间，龙纹写意灵动，青花发色浓艳明快，蓝白对比清雅，近底处装饰一圈仰莲瓣纹样，莲瓣内部点缀细碎白点，层次丰富。

English Translation

Exterior: Kui dragons (elephant-trunk chilong / vanilla dragons) intertwined with interlocking lotus sprays. Devoid of the five claws of orthodox imperial dragons, this style features long snouts and scrollwork foliage. The kui dragon motif gained popularity starting in the mid-Ming Dynasty, symbolizing auspiciousness and protection.

Bowl interior base: Crossed vajra (crossed precious vajra), a symbol of Tibetan Buddhism. It represents dispelling afflictions, warding off evil and attracting blessings. This motif frequently appears on blue-and-white bowls of the Kangxi reign in the Qing Dynasty, as a Buddhist devotional theme. Near the foot: a band of upward-facing lotus petal borders, dotted with round specks inside each petal, a classic secondary decorative border.

Inner wall: Also painted with kui dragons winding through floral scrolls, creating a harmonious echo between interior and exterior ornamentation.

This vessel combines exterior kui dragons with interlocking lotus sprays and a crossed vajra at the inner base. The body and glaze are smooth and mellow, with naturally blurred blue-and-white pigment, archaic and unrefined brushwork, neatly trimmed foot rim, and natural rust-red firing stain.

The outer wall is fully decorated with blue-and-white chilong (grass dragon) and interlocking lotus scrolls. The chilongs twist and turn vigorously, weaving among blooming lotus blossoms. The dragon rendering is freehand and vivid. The cobalt pigment presents a rich, bright tone, forming an elegant contrast between blue and white. Near the base runs a band of upward lotus petals speckled with tiny white dots, creating layered visual richness.

Blue-and-White Bowl with Chilong Interlocking Lotus and Crossed Vajra Pattern

Flared mouth with curved belly, the vessel boasts a dignified form. The exterior is adorned with chilongs threading through lotus blooms, with upward lotus petals decorating the area near the base; the bowl center bears a crossed vajra, while the inner wall is encircled by chilong and interlocking lotus scrolls. It integrates auspicious motifs of both Han and Tibetan traditions.

The blue and white hues complement each other beautifully with fluid painting strokes. Embodied with omens of good fortune and blessing, the piece serves both daily use and display collection. It is a fine blue-and-white masterpiece with well-matched imagery and profound symbolic connotations.
