螭龙耳抱月瓶          

抱月瓶（马挂瓶） 原型源自明代永乐西域阿拉伯金属扁壶，清代雍乾官窑定型，颈部对称堆塑螭龙双耳是经典制式：小口、直束颈、扁圆满月腹、方圈足，螭龙贴塑于颈肩两侧，龙身卷曲、首尾灵动，兼具陈设与礼器属性，官窑多作宫廷陈设瓷。

尺寸：口径7.5cm 高38cm 底14cm 肚围67.5cm

画面取材元代平话杂剧，典故：战国齐燕交战，孙膑被困燕国，其师鬼谷子受齐国使者苏代恳请，坐虎豹双兽牵引战车下山营救弟子；

画面标配元素：鬼谷子坐车、车前矛兵开道、擎 “鬼谷” 帅旗小将、骑马使臣苏代，辅以苍松、山石、祥云布景，是元青花顶级人物故事题材。胎：瓷石 + 高岭土二元配胎，胎质粗实、底足露胎带自然火石红；

青花：进口苏麻离青，蓝浓艳深沉、釉面自然铁锈凹斑、局部晕散；官窑鬼谷子螭龙耳抱月瓶传世，全球稀少。要特征。造型端庄、线条流畅、文人气浓，尤为罕见，现在存世比较稀少。

English Translation of Porcelain Description

Moon Vase (Saddle Flask)

The moon vase, also known as the saddle flask, evolved from flat metal flasks originating in the Arabic regions of Western Asia during the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty, and was finalized as a standard official kiln porcelain form in the Yongzheng and Qianlong periods of the Qing Dynasty. Its iconic design features symmetric appliqued chilong dragon ears moulded onto the neck: a tiny mouth, straight constricted neck, full moon-shaped flattened belly and square ring foot. The coiled, agile chilong dragons with distinct heads and tails are affixed to the juncture of neck and shoulder. Serving as both decorative furnishings and ritual wares, most examples crafted at imperial official kilns were reserved for palace display.

Painted scenes derive from vernacular storybooks and zaju operas of the Yuan Dynasty, illustrating a historical anecdote from the Warring States Period: amid warfare between the State of Qi and Yan, military strategist Sun Bin was trapped in Yan. At the request of Su Dai, an envoy from Qi, Sun Bin’s mentor Guiguzi descended from the mountains aboard a chariot drawn by a tiger and a leopard to rescue his disciple.

Standard Pictorial Motifs

Core patterned elements include Guiguzi riding the beast-drawn chariot, spear-wielding foot soldiers leading the procession, a young standard-bearer holding a battle flag inscribed with the Chinese character "Guigu", mounted envoy Su Dai, alongside scenic backdrops of pine trees, rock formations and auspicious cloud scrolls. This ranks among the finest narrative figure themes of Yuan blue-and-white porcelain.

Body & Glaze Specifications

Porcelain Body: Compound dual-component paste blended from china stone and kaolin clay, dense and sturdy in texture; exposed base foot bears natural rust-red firing blush (huoshihong).

Underglaze Blue Pigment: Imported Smalt (Sumali blue cobalt). The pigment renders rich, deep vibrant blue with naturally formed sunken iron-rust speckles across the glaze and subtle edge bleeding in localized areas.

Imperial official-kiln moon vases with chilong ears depicting the Guiguzi rescue scene are extremely scarce among extant worldwide antique porcelain specimens.
