The creator, Qi Yuke, also known as Shuangshou Qishu, was born in 1963 in Hailun, Heilongjiang. From a young age, he immersed himself in calligraphy and painting. In his early years, he undertook advanced studies at the Fine Arts Department of Harbin Normal University, systematically studying the theory of calligraphy and painting as well as traditional brush techniques. For decades, he has devoted himself to the art of calligraphy without pause. He holds numerous professional positions, including Executive Director of the Chinese Qi Baishi Art Research Institute, Director of the Heilongjiang Branch, member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and curator of the Harbin Cultural and Historical Museum. From the theoretical foundation built in academic training to the long years of meticulous practice, from professional engagement in painting and calligraphy associations to the inheritance of local cultural history, his prolonged artistic cultivation has given him profound understanding of the origins and developments of seal script and deep familiarity with folk cultural traditions. He is particularly skilled in writing auspicious themes in seal script and has established a unique style in the creation of 'Fu' (fortune) calligraphy.
